Minimum technical requirements to be a Registration Entity T-CAT

The minimum technical requirements that are necessary and recommended to be a T-CAT Registration Entity are as follows.

Minimum team requirements:

• Windows 10

• Processor: Intel Core Duo or Superior CPU / AMD Athlon 64

• RAM memory: 4 GB

• Hard disk: 100 GB

Recommended equipment requirements:

• Windows 10 64 bit

• Processor: Intel Core Duo or Superior CPU / AMD Athlon 64

• RAM memory: 8 GB

• Hard disk: 250 GB

Software to install:

• Latest version of Java

• Version 3.0.124 of SafeSign:

• Safesign for Microsoft Windows
  • Windows 10 And 11 (32-bit) 3.0.124

• Bit4id PKI Manager software version 1.4.10.744
• Recommended browsers: Google Chrome or updated Microsoft Edge and with minimum TLS 1.2 support.
• Extension for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

• Program HostInstaller for the correct execution of Java

• public keys of the AOC Consortium

Apart from these requirements, you will need:

• A card printer (see Public service prices )

• Card reader: The AOC Consortium does not supply the readers , users must request the readers from their computer suppliers.

Once all the requirements are met, the following tests can be performed to verify that everything is working correctly, and you can authenticate and sign in.

• Equipment configuration test
  • Verify version of raapplet.jar 1.7.4 :

    • Without closing the browser where the test was done, then verify that version 1.7.4 appears on line 10 of the file C:\ProgramData\Firmaprofesional\rapplet.jnlp on line 10 of the file <jarhref="/bundles /firmaprofesionalrapplet/java/rapplet.jar" main="true" version="1.74" />
  • Verify version of detected card providers:
    • SafeSign Standard Cryptographic Service Provider 3.0.0.3930
    • SafeSign Standard Cryptographic Service Provider (sys64) 3.0.0.3930
