To check the validity of a certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Have the operating certificate:
    • If it is in software we will have it installed in the internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)
    • If it is on a device (card or USB memory), we will have it connected to our computer.
  2. Once confirmed step 1, we access the website https://scd.aoc.cat/test/sign (the recommended browsers to do this test is Google Chrome (Internet Explorer 11 also recommended, but from August 2021 Microsoft stops supporting and updating this browser.
  1. test_sign_certificate Enter a test text and select the option with which you want to sign this text.
  2. If we have more than one certificate, we will be asked to select the one we want to check.
  3. You will be asked for the certificate PIN in case you are using a card certificate.
  4. When the page loads, it will show us the signature information.

How to interpret the results: The result is as shown in the following image. You can see the signed text, the signature (a check indicating that everything was OK ) and the information about the certificate that signed the text.
